Everyone know about the iPhone. But not everyone knows about all the great new applications that are available for the iPhone. Here are some of the more revolutionary applications available.
This first application is something that everyone is going to absolutely love. Along with having all the features of the regular TomTom, there is this great accessory that it comes with known as the TomTom Car Kit that allows you to power your iPhone wherever you are going and dock it in your car. The down side… it costs one hundred dollars for the US/ Canada version.
Zipcar
For people who don’t know what Zipcar is, it’s a service that allows people to share cars. You reserve a car through the service and then you unlock it with a Zipcard.
This application lets you find the locations for Zipcar, put reservations on a car, and unlock the car using your iPhone. It’s also going to beep when you are pressing the button for the horn.
Compass
This is one of the built in applications that a lot of people have looked forward to. This is something that does what a real compass is supposed too – it tells the user where magnetic north is. You even have the ability to go into Google Maps when you tap the application, and the map can also be oriented to whatever direction you are currently facing.
Star Defense
This is a game that is just like the popular Tower Defense game – except for the fact that it’s based in space. Although it has a lot of functions that other similar games have, there is one feature that it takes advantage of – you can download things while you are in the application. For example, you can download a new level or galaxy for this game. This application is one that is going to show how the iPhone is going to change the way that we look at games on cell phones.
This is one of the best applications that you are going to find with the iPhone. This application has the ability for an iPhone to talk to devices which belong to third parties. For example, a company called PASCO graphed the air pressure which was exiting a balloon. This can help with measuring and graphing velocities, chemical compositions, and forces.
These are types of applications that are going to revolutionize the way that the world is looking at the cell phone and make things a lot easier for iPhone users. There are a lot of fun things that can be done with the applications.
The new applications are the things that make the iPhone worth buying. The applications are going to save you money and show you what you can do with your iPhone. They are going to help your kids with their science homework and help you find your way in the world. They are taking cell phones where they have never gone before.

Star defense is one bad mamer jammer! for sure. I was hooked on this game for dayz.
I luv Tom, Tom, its a little pricey though. They offer a car kit and if you buy both you end up paying more than just getting the device. Crazy people.
