There are so many great blogs on the internet. They are often judged on content and design. We can say that everyone has their own opinions to their favorites. Some viewers consider the following the top ten blogs when it comes to blog design.
Ordered List by Steve Smith is ranked number one. It has an attractive look that is wide and horizontal. The colors utilized to include blue, gray, and black , brown , cream and orange – with the use of big fonts. Icons are placed in a very appealing manner. These pages are more color than image. This makes the very easy to load.
Superfluous Banter by Dan Rubin’s is next on the list. This blog is interesting because it flows sideways from left to right. This is not the traditional up and down style. There are interlocking columns that draw attention to everyone’s comments. Dan has designed the blogger template that is used by millions.
Slot number three is filed by
Odd and Ends by Lim Zhi Xin. This is due to the vertical format, great typography, and ease of navigation. All photos are accompanied by descriptive text. All pictures have an explanation of what was used to take it. Archives follow the same style.
Joshua ink comes in at number four. This blog is designed with cascading flowers. Photoshop elements are blended into the overall design. There is a footer that wakes up when you poke it. This is a very original blog design.
The Big Noob is a blog designed by design firm known as Neubix Studios. The blog starts with the one column layout. It then breaks out into three columns. They make great use of the color blue with shadowing and portrait images.
There is not said about number six. This blog is
Avalonstar by Bryan Veloso. He is said to be in the next generation of designers. Everyone is extremely impressed by his work.
Simple bits takes its proud place at number seven. This blog is created by Dan Cederholm. This blog is very fresh and is updated continuously with new graphic design ideas for others.
Number eight is
Emotions by Mike. This blog is actually Mike’s portfolio that he uses as a freelance designer. It has an awesome three-dimensional look. The site is said to be inspiring and unique.
Jonathan Snook’s blog is number nine. His design is a mix of four columns in a combination of floating and fixed elements. Colors are a severe blend of grey, white, and green. The use of shapes to divide sections is intriguing.
Coming in at ten is
Binary bonsai. Michael Hellemann created this blog. He is known for his JavaScript archives browser, to off the wall comments. He also has his own live search. He makes a great look with a minimalist design.
