- Retweet – Most people are not going to mind if you want to paste their tweet on your own Twitter page. The only thing that you should remember is that you should put RT @ and their user name in front of the tweet so that you are giving them credit. For a lot of tweeps, the retweet is the highest form of flattery.

- Direct Message Followers – You will find that you can send a direct message to someone who is following you. It’s something like sending someone a very short email or an instant message. The only thing is that you can only send direct messages to those on Twitter who are following you. It should also be noted that in many instances, the DM has been set on autopilot. Meaning, when you follow someone you may receive a scripted DM back.

- Reply to Users – Another thing that you can do is to send replies to Twitter users. All you have to do is to put an @ sign before their user name on Twitter i.e. you can send me a message by using @michael_duvall in your update field.

- Search – You know that there are a lot of famous people on Twitter, so why not see if you can find them? All you have to do is use the search option on it and see if you can find your favorite celebrities. It’s also a great way to see if your friends are also on Twitter.

- Share your Pictures – Just like any other blogging site, Twitter also has the option of sharing pictures with other people on Twitter. Whether they are pictures of your new baby, your new pet, or your new hairdo, you can upload your pictures quickly and easily with services such as TwitPic or twitxr.
